Are You Blind? - Thammineni to yellow media

AP Assembly speaker Thammineni Sitharam posed a couple of questions to the yellow media from the YSR Congress Plenary on Saturday.

He has been attending the party’s plenary for the last two days.

As he was seated on the dais on the first day, the yellow media wrote reports finding fault with Sitharam for attending the party meeting while being the Speaker.

The media also tried to teach him moral values in politics by stating that the speaker has to be impartial and should keep away from the party activities.  Readmore!

Responding to these reports, Sitharam posed these two questions – are you deaf and are you blind?

He said his predecessor Dr Kodela Sivaprasada Rao had attended the TDP programmes while he was the speaker.

Dr Sivaprasada Rao had organised the party programmes in his home constituency – Narasaraopet – when he was the speaker of the Assembly.

Dr Sivaprasada Rao used to say that he is the TDP MLA first and then the Assembly Speaker later and thus he justified his presence at the party programmes.

Sitharam sought to ask the yellow media to open their eyes and ears to know what had happened in the past, before blaming him.

Will the yellow media open its ears and eyes!?
