Animal to mint $1 million from USA premiere?

A unique frenzy and excitement have gripped the audience as the release of Ranbir Kapoor's "Animal" approaches.

The anticipation was already at a peak with the pre-teaser, teaser, and songs, but the trailer has exceeded everyone's expectations, delivering precisely what was anticipated from a Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial.

While the film is set to release in India on December 1, "Animal" will hit screens in the United States of America on November 30, and the early numbers are highly promising.

Trade analysts expect the film to gross nearly $1 million from its premiere shows alone. Currently, the film has sold 18,128 tickets for 611 shows, accumulating $301,778 (Rs 2.5 crore) for its premiere shows. Readmore!

Ranbir recently shared how real-life experiences influenced his portrayal in the film, stating, "I lost my father, and I feel everyone who loses a parent feels they haven’t spent enough time with them. While I was growing up, my father was very busy—shooting most of the time, doing double shifts, and traveling. So, somewhere, we saw him with a lot of love and respect, but there was never really a friendly relationship between us. We could not just sit and chat, and I have this one regret in my life that I wish I could be friends with my father. I wish I could share everything with him. That is one regret I will always live with.”

Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, "Animal" features Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, and Tripti Dimri.

It will clash with Vicky Kaushal starrer Meghna Gulzar’s "Sam Bahadur," which narrates the story of India’s first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw and his role in the creation of Bangladesh.
