One of the leading producers of Tollywood, Anil Sunkara has bagged the rights of Bollywood film ‘Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana’ and is planning to remake in Telugu very soon.
The above film had Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Karbhanda in the lead roles and was directed by Ratnaa Sinha.
The film is about two individuals who fall in love with each other but their lives change when the bride runs away on the wedding day.
This plot has impressed producer Anil and opined that it has strong emotional family content which can suit the taste of Telugu audience.
The producer is in talks with a young hero to play the lead role and on the other hand, the pre-production work has kick-started recently.
As and when it gets done, an official announcement is expected and the project will hit the sets very soon.
Anil Sunkara will bankroll the Telugu version of ‘Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana’ under AK Entertainments banner.
