Andhra CM Jagan Govt Extends Advisors' Term

The Jagan Mohan Reddy government had extended the term of the four key advisors by another year. 

Advisors Talasila Raghuram, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, Ajey Kallam and G V D Krishna Mohan got the extension ‘for their good work’.

The only advisor who could not work with the government was senior journalist K Ramachandra Murthy, who quit his post during final quarter of 2020.

Retired IAS officer Nilam Sahwney who retired as chief secretary was appointed as advisor to the chief minister for a short while before she was finally made the State Election Commissioner. Readmore!

Talasila Raghuram had emerged as the most-trusted man for the chief minister, both in the party and the government as well. 

Raghuram, a Kamma leader from Vijayawada, is one of the arms in the armour of Jagan Mohan Reddy shielding him from the Kamma caste, which he represents.

Sajjala had emerged as the voice of the government both as advisor and the general secretary of the party.

Krishna Mohan had been in the back office of the chief minister monitoring the entire team of PROs who take care of the chief minister’s office. 

Ajey Kallam, a retired chief secretary, helps the chief minister in coordinating the bureaucrats in the government.
