Andhra BJP Asked To Go Aggressive!

The Central leadership of BJP is learnt to have expressed displeasure over the party’s Andhra Pradesh unit for failing to take up the issues of the people so as to grow as effective alternative to the ruling YSRCP.

Reports from New Delhi indicate that BJP national president J P Nadda and other senior leaders like Nitish Gadkari had asked state BJP president Somu Veerraju to step up his aggression against the YSR Congress party government, instead of approaching a soft stand.

Apparently, the central leadership is learnt to have asked the state BJP leaders to play the role of an aggressive opposition party, so that there is no scope for the TDP to bounce back as an opposition.

“If we adopt soft approach towards the ruling party, the TDP will have a chance to recover as an opposition,” the national BJP leaders told Veerraju. Readmore!

It was evident from the way Veerraju made wild allegations against the Jagan government for indulging in irregularities in the distribution of house sites, acquisition of land for house site programme and drip irrigation schemes etc.

The BJP national leadership has also decided to revamp the entire state BJP by appointing a 25-member strong committee of dedicated and young leaders. The committee will be given approval in a day or two, sources said.
