Andhra: 50 People For Functions, 50 PC In Theatres

The Andhra Pradesh government had issued orders restricting the number of people allowed for any gathering in the state to 50 persons. 

The government issued orders instructing the joint collectors to keep a close watch on the public or private functions in their respective district.

With the Covid 19 positive cases increasing in the state, the government had revised the restrictions to contain the spread of the virus.

Functions like marriages and religious festivals are permitted to allow 50 persons at a time and that too strictly adhering to the covid guidelines. Readmore!

Similarly, the theatres in the state were also directed to screen films with just 50 per cent occupancy.  

The government-owned APSRTC was also directed to have just 50 per cent occupancy in all its bus services, including the long distance services. 

However, the government is yet to take a call on operating inter-state services, where Covid cases are increasing.

The district administrations were also directed to impose strict restrictions on the occupancy rate in the autos and cabs through a regular check.
