Analysis: YS Jagan Is A Tough Nut To Crack

Andhra Pradesh CM Y S Jaganmohan Reddy is known as a tough leader in politics. Many people have a general opinion on him that he is a hard nut to crack.

Majority of the people draw comparisons to Jagan with his late grandfather YS Raja Reddy.  Some people say that he is a combination of YS Raja Reddy and YS Rajasekhara Reddy.

Opposition leaders often allege that Jagan is more like his grandfather and he has factionist tendencies.  Surprisingly, that's not true.

Let us see where Jagan has similarities with Raja Reddy.  Readmore!

Non Factionist Nature
If we have a close look at his one year rule, there is no faction-related violence in the state and the law and order is under control. This is a clear sign of his non-factionist nature. He cannot be compared with his grandfather in his aspect.

Dealing The Opponents:
If we look at YSR's attitude, he used to act softly on those people who came to him seeking his help even though they were from his opposite group.

Despite possessing the power to fix them, he just used to save them. There are several examples of this quality of YSR and there is no need to get into the details.

Jagan is quite different in this aspect. If he gets a chance to corner his political opponents, he will make use of it. The political opponents had already faced the music from Jagan in the last one year. They will continue to face it for the next four years.

Jagan will never step back when it comes to dealing toughly with political opponents. Many people say that this is the characteristic of his grandfather, YS Raja Reddy.

Taking Suggestions:
YSR used to take suggestions from the people who are close to him. Sometimes he used to get influenced by his well-wishers while taking decisions.

Jagan also takes suggestions but he will never get influenced by others. He follows his heart while taking decisions irrespective of the consequences. This is also a characteristic of YS Raja Reddy.

Welfare Activities:
When it comes to welfare activities, he follows his father YSR sincerely. He is a strong believer in welfare oriented rule like his father. Because it brings peace and tranquility to the state. It will drastically decrease the crime rate.

When the welfare schemes are available there is no need for the people to resort to crimes. When people's basic needs are taken care of by the government, they will think of growing in their life. Or some people will just sit idle.

Many people talk about development as a great thing but the negative side of the development is that a few people will get the benefits and others will be dissatisfied with the lack of opportunities in tune with their abilities.

High Command:
YSR used to deal with the high command of his party in a diplomatic manner but Jagan never believed in such things.

He had to face some troubles because of his straight forward approach but he never surrendered to the opponents. He rather chose to fight with them even in his adversity.

He always takes his opponents head-on like his grandfather Raja Reddy irrespective of the situations he is in.

When it comes to the high command, he is always the high command he would never allow somebody to command him.
