All Eyes On Chandrababu Naidu's Next Move

The people in the State have set their eyes on former chief minister and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu with IT raids on his associates exposing a hidden deal of Rs 2,000 crore or a little more.

While the IT raids are yet to complete and there are enough indications that there would be more such raids on the people around Chandrababu Naidu in the weeks to come, people have started debating the future of the TDP chief.

“He (Naidu) had destroyed every institution since he came to power for the first time in 1995 by a coup against TDP’s founder late N T Rama Rao. There is no doubt he is involved in several corruption cases and they would be proved in due course by the BJP-led NDA government,” asserted BJP MLC Somu Veerraju.

In fact, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have accused Chandrababu Naidu of indulging huge corruption. Readmore!

The corruption charge against Chandrababu Naidu was the key issue of their election campaign in the 2019 general elections.

A host of YSR Congress leaders and the TDP rebel MLAs are pointing an accusing finger at Chandrababu Naidu. They visualize the clear exposure of Naidu’s corruption in the light of the IT raids in the last week.

The IT officials have raided a former PS of Chandrababu Naidu and the raids are inconclusive. People talk about the IT officials getting several important clues on the corruption of Chandrababu Naidu during the raids.

The State government had already conducted CID enquiry into the insider trading in Amaravati, where the TDP leaders, most of them close to Chandrababu Naidu, have purchased over 4,000 acres of lands in the capital villages even before the government had announced the area as capital.

It is alleged that Naidu had leaked the capital information to his men in advance and made them buy lands from farmers at throw away price.

In the light of these charges and the subsequent IT and ED raids on several people close to the TDP chief, people of the two Telugu States are engaged in curious debate on the fate and future of Chandrababu Naidu.

Quite interestingly, Chandrababu Naidu had escaped over 18 such cases filed against him in his four-decade long political career.

As it is widely said, a wise rabbit will fell into a net of an innocent hunter, Naidu is set to fall for his crimes in the rule of Jagan Mohan Reddy, a first-time chief minister.

People are eagerly waiting for Naidu’s next move to counter the IT cases on his former PS, Srinivasa Rao, a state government employee.

Rao was the PS for Naidu for over a decade and he has very crucial information about Naidu’s activities including financial deals.

So, it is interesting to see what and how Chandrababu Naidu would react or make his next move to escape uncaught, as he is known!
