Everyday the teaser of "Akhanda" is adding 2 million new views. This is something eerie. Balakrishna, though a mass star, has no muscle to pull the traction in social media. In simple words, he is not a social media star.
On the other hand, the teaser of the film "Major" that got huge response has made 20 Million views with 3.8 lakh likes in one week and slowed down.
The views appear organic, considering how it made huge in the first two days and eventually decelerated in subsequent days.
But "Akhanda" teaser getting 40 million views in 1 week with a regular 2 million addition on each day without downfall is something fishy. Moreover the number of likes are just 4.13 lakh.
Sources say that a target of 50 million views is set for this teaser and so it gets slowed down and comes to an end after that.
"The money spent on this marketing will be huge but considering that some artificial hype can be generated to sell the film's digital and satellite rights at bloated prices makes business sense. But the fans should understand that a larger chunk of views served for this teaser are not organic", a producer shared his opinion.
