Nandamuri Balakrishna's birthday is only 12 days away, and fans are eagerly anticipating an official announcement about Akhanda 2, as the project has been in the plans for a long time.
Director Boyapati Srinu has already prepared the basic script for the film. However, there is no clarity about whether the announcement will be made on Balakrishna's birthday, June 10.
The issue stems from the fact that Boyapati was originally supposed to direct a film starring Allu Arjun for Geetha Arts.
However, producer Allu Aravind cleverly persuaded the director to direct a film with Nandamuri Balakrishna for their production house instead of Allu Arjun.
Boyapati agreed to this idea, and Allu Aravind and Bunny Vaas convinced him to create Akhanda 2 for them.
Meanwhile, the original producer, Miryala Ravinder Reddy, wants to produce Akhanda 2 under his banner or form an equal partnership with Allu Aravind. This unresolved deal has delayed the project.
It remains to be seen if everything will be resolved in time for an announcement.
