An interesting situation is running in the political front of Andhra Pradesh and one can call it a film that can be titled ‘Abuse…And Get Abused’.
Lately, instead of active politics, a saga of abusing each other is happening strongly. Every day, parties are trying to use their media machinery and getting these abuse episodes into focus. But for that to happen, they need someone who can use cuss words without hesitation.
Hence, one media entity waits for Kodali Nani’s pressmeet and when he will start cursing while another media waits to get a counter to it.
Vijayasai abuses Lokesh and vice versa. And then there are Avanti Srinivas and Vellampalli Srinivas who blurt something. Immediately, the TDP bigwigs like Achem Naidu, Devineni Uma, Yanamala react in their own style. In between, Chandrababu keeps surfacing citing the entire state is in doldrums because he is not in power and farmers are suffering miserably.
Before anyone forgets, Pawan Kalyan pops up and gives an out of the blue statement that nobody can harm him. Though nobody bothers, he keeps claiming that many are scared of him. As part of that, he rolls out his share of abuses.
Last but not the least, there is the saffron brigade BJP who are moving heaven and earth to prove that they also exist. On and off, even the communists make some noise but lately they have become silent.
In this entire ‘Abuse…And Get Abused’ film, the only person staying out is Jagan. He is seen once a month or fortnight and speaks at a meeting or opening. He says what he has to say and leaves it there.
As expected, his opponents start waving the battle flag and the abuse saga restarts. At the end of the day, we can’t help wondering how long this useless, irrelevant to public welfare, just useful to media TRP, tirade will continue.
