When the majority of exit polls, especially those of the national media, are predicting the victory of the Alliance, it is Aaraa Mastan who turned heads by predicting the win of YCP.
Though there are a few others who predicted the same, the focus is completely on Aaraa Mastan due to his track record in the past.
If his prediction goes wrong, he has to permanently close down his Aaraa company, and he will be forgotten by the media and the public, just like Lagadapati Rajagopal, who gave a wrong exit poll in 2019 despite a successful track record in the past.
Regarding the astrologers, it is Venu Swamy who has been firmly predicting the victory of YCP. Though there are many other astrologers who are predicting the same, the focus is more on Venu Swamy because of his social media exposure through controversial statements.
If YCP wins, Aaraa Mastan and Venu Swamy may continue their careers as psephologist and astrologer, respectively, with better clientele. However, if they are wrong, they will be trolled by social media first and forgotten by the rest.
With 24 hours remaining before the actual results are announced, only some local exit polls and astrologers are on the side of YCP, while the entire national media supports TDP+.
The supporters of both sides are confused by these many exit polls and still hoping for the best, anticipating a sure shot win for their beloved parties.
What happens remains to be seen in another few hours.
