On every occasion, Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu tries to project himself as one of the most experienced politicians in the country.
Whenever he comes across any development that is not favourable to him, he says he has not seen such a development in his forty years of political experience.
This 40-years industry is now staring at defeat in the recently held assembly elections in the state, but he has been putting up a brave front to see that his party cadre is not demoralized.
In his regular teleconference with party leaders on Thursday, Naidu reiterated that his 40-years of experience would help him win the elections.
“The TDP is going to clinch the victory in the elections certainly. I am telling you this with my 40 years of experience in politics. I am only concerned about how much majority our candidates would get,” he said.
He tried to infuse confidence among the party leaders that he had the reports of several poll surveys and predictions with him which indicated that the TDP was winning the elections.
“In fact, I have the exit poll results of every booth in the state. The people of the state have shown more sympathy towards the government and welfare schemes,” he said.
