The film 35 Chinna Katha Kaadu, which has received unanimous acclaim, is thriving at the box office, with audiences of all ages connecting with its story.
At a thanks meet, Rana shared his delight at the positive reception from both critics and viewers. He praised Nivetha Thomas for her standout performance, noting, “Nivetha truly carried the film on her shoulders. Vishwadev also made a great impact. It's refreshing to see families and children enjoying the movie together. One person even mentioned that they chose to watch the film because the rangoli reminded them of Bapu’s Bomma. The movie is watched for beautiful different reasons. It’s wonderful to see people connecting with the movie in various ways.”
Nivetha Thomas stated that she and the team have been visiting 5 to 6 theaters daily. “We’ve watched the film in single-screen theaters as well. It felt like bringing a piece of cinema to a nursery school, alongside families. The audience has shown that 35 is not a Chinna Katha. Telugu audiences truly appreciate family dramas.”
She expressed gratitude for the role, saying, “I approach each role with the same dedication. I’m thankful to Nandu for writing such a compelling character for me. Saraswathi became a memorable character thanks to the excellent writing.”
Director Nanda Kishore clarified that Rana has been involved with the project from the very start, having supported it since the initial narration of the story.
Vishwadev also expressed his joy at achieving his first success as an actor.
