There have been many stories circulating about the strained relationship between YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and his sister Sharmila.
Some suggest that it is purely a matter of political interest that led to the conflict, while others believe it revolves around some personal property issues.
However, a highly reliable source revealed an incident that occurred after Jagan won the election in 2019.
It appears that Anil requested around 100 acres of land scattered across different areas of Andhra Pradesh, registered under Christian missionary properties, to be transferred to his name. Jagan Mohan Reddy rejected this request, explaining why it could not be done.
In response, Anil expressed his expectation for this favor, citing that Jagan won the election with the support of him and Sharmila.
What disturbed Jagan more than the land request was Anil's belief that he and Sharmila played a crucial role in Jagan's electoral victory.
Following this incident, Jagan began distancing Sharmila and Anil from his party and political activities, sensing unpleasant future with them if travelled politically.
Jagan Mohan Reddy understands the importance of being the Chief Minister for all people, irrespective of their religions.
To project a secular outlook, he has made efforts to be seen attending both temples and dargahs and also taking part in religious rituals.
If this incident is accurate, what's more concerning is Anil's perception that Jagan won the election with his support.
Sharmila, however, recently stated that the Congress won the Telangana elections because her party did not contest.
So, it's not surprising that Anil may have made similar claims to Jagan Mohan Reddy back in 2019, out of illusion.
