No compromise with Jagan anna: Sharmila

Y S Sharmila has ruled out the possibilities of bridging bridges with her brother – Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.

In an interaction with a national news channel, Sharmila said there was no question of compromising with her brother.

She was answering a question whether she would return to the YSRCP, if Jagan calls her for a compromise.

“Will you join the YSRCP, if Jagan calls you and gives you some good position and invites you back into his family?” the journalist asked.

“No,” Sharmila said. “The boat has sailed a long way,” she replied.

Despite the reprimand from the Election Commission of India and booking of a case by the Kadapa police, Sharmila continued to raise the issue of her uncle Y S Vivekananda Reddy’s murder at Pulivendula in March 2019.

Addressing a rally at Kamalapuram, Sharmila ridiculed Jagan for calling Y S Avinash Reddy, the YSRCP candidate from Kadapa, as a young innocent boy.

“He was very much there when the accused were wiping out all the evidence after the murder of Vivekananda Reddy,” she said.

Sharmila alleged that it was Avinash who had masterminded the murder by offering a supari of Rs 40 crore to the killers and paid an advance of Rs 5 crore.

“All the call records and Google Maps pointed out to the residence of Avinash Reddy,” she said.

She also dragged Jagan’s wife Bharati Reddy into the sibling rivalry, stating that it was Jagan’s wife who concocted the theory of suicide after the murder of Vivekananda Reddy.

“Nobody has questioned how Bharati Reddy ran the story of suicide on Sakshi television channel for a long time,” she pointed out.
