Mehreen Freezes Her Eggs and Shares Her Journey

Mehreen, known for her role in the hit movie "F2," took a step that many women might hesitate to disclose publicly.

She not only chose to freeze her eggs but also openly discussed this often "taboo" topic and shared a video of herself undergoing the medical procedure.

She announced on her social media accounts that after over two years of contemplation, she had decided to freeze her eggs.

She expressed her thoughts in a post: “After 2 years of trying to make up my mind to go through this process, I’m so happy that I finally did it. I was contemplating whether to share something so personal or not. But then I thought to myself that there are so many women like me who haven’t yet decided when to get married or have a baby, and I think it’s very important to safeguard yourself for the future. I think all women should do this to avoid complications later on.”

Mehreen also mentioned her desire to become a mother eventually, just not at the moment.

She emphasized not wanting to miss out on the opportunity to become a mother when she feels ready, hence her decision to freeze her eggs.

It is noted that women who freeze their eggs before the age of 40 have a higher chance of achieving pregnancy in the future using those eggs.

She further commented, “We don’t talk about this much as it is considered to be a 'taboo' topic. With the help of technology, we are able to make better decisions for ourselves, so why not? It’s my dream to become a mother, and I didn’t want to give up on that dream just because I was a few years late."
