Chiranjeevi to campaign in Pithapuram?

Megastar Chiranjeevi, who made a political statement on Sunday for the first time in nearly a decade, is gradually emerging from his shell to reveal his political leanings.

Sources close to the Jana Sena Party suggest that the megastar is likely to participate in campaigning for his younger brother, power star Pawan Kalyan, in Pithapuram shortly, possibly in the first week of May.

"While the exact date is yet to be finalized, Chiranjeevi has agreed to join a public rally or a roadshow in Pithapuram. He will appeal to the people to vote for his brother and support his political career," sources revealed.

It remains unclear whether Chiranjeevi will confine his involvement to campaigning for Pawan Kalyan in Pithapuram or extend his support to other NDA candidates, notably C M Ramesh in the Anakapalli Lok Sabha constituency and Panchakarla Ramesh in Pendurthi.

"Although he may not campaign for the BJP and TDP candidates, his support for Jana Sena candidates will indicate his stance in the political landscape," sources added.

Chiranjeevi has already expressed his approval of the alliance between the TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP, emphasizing its positive impact on the state's development. He urged voters to choose capable and honest candidates for the state's progress.

On April 8, Chiranjeevi donated Rs 5 crore to the Jana Sena Party, endorsing his brother's party and its efforts for societal welfare.

"I admire Pawan Kalyan's dedication to serving the people with his own earnings, contrasting with empty promises made by other leaders," he remarked.

Analysts suggest that while Chiranjeevi's verbal endorsements and financial contributions may not significantly alter the election dynamics, his active participation in campaigning for the NDA could have a substantial influence.
