Why Harish Shankar Stirs Up The Hornet's Nest?

Harish Shankar released a press note today on his social media accounts, issuing a warning to Chota K Naidu. Indirectly, he advised him to refrain from continuously criticizing him in every interview.

Chota K Naidu is neither a director nor an actor; he is a cinematographer who seldom engages or entertains in his speech.

In contrast, Harish Shankar is a popular director known for his mastery of speech, capable of captivating audiences with his words.

As rightly pointed out by Harish Shankar in his Press Note, he might have given 100 interviews in the last 10 years, whereas Chota might have given only a fraction of that.

Not many know what Chota has spoken about Harish in his interviews. If Harish hadn't released this press note, hardly anyone would have paid attention to it. Harish Shankar's reputation is not so fragile as to be disturbed by Chota's remarks.

Nevertheless, Harish Shankar chose to reveal his sensitivity by issuing a public warning to Chota. The press note does not mention whether he had already conveyed this warning to him personally.

Now, with no knowledge of Chota's remarks, the media and general public are searching through Chota's old interviews. Is it really necessary for Harish? It's like stirring up a hornet's nest.
