I Will Contest From Mangalagiri, Dad From Kuppam

Former minister and TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh said that he would contest from Mangalagiri constituency in the next general election as well.

He said he is not looking for any other constituency as being speculated and circulated by the ruling YSR Congress leaders.

He asserted that he would contest and win the next election from Mangalagiri constituency, where he lost the 2019 election.

Lokesh also said that his father and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu too would contest from Kuppam Assembly constituency in Chittoor district.

“There is no going back on these two Assembly constituencies,” Lokesh reiterated.

He brushed aside the ruling party claims of wresting the Kuppam Constituency from the TDP and asserted that his father would win as he enjoys the support of the people.

He alleged that the ruling YSR Congress leaders were playing mind game but asserted that those tricks of the YSR Congress leaders would not work with the people of Kuppam.

On his contest from Mangalagiri, he said that he had become close to the people in the last three years.

Lokesh said that he had been visiting the people frequently and interacting with them too. He found a strong anti-incumbency in Mangalgiri along with the rest of the state.

He said that time had come for the YSR Congress leaders to pack their bags as people in the state were turning against them.
