Buzz: Balayya daughter turns manager for dad!

Hitherto, it was Dr Surendra, better known as Doctor garu, who had been looking after the programmes and other film-related activities of senior actor and Telugu Desam Party legislator Nandamuri Balakrishna.

Whenever somebody wanted to have the dates, call-sheets, programmes and forthcoming films, they would have to approach this Doctor garu. Now, Balakrishna has appointed another person to manage his film-related activities.

It's Balakrishna's younger daughter Tejaswini, wife of GITAM group of institutions’ chairman M Sri Bharat.

According to sources in the Tollywood, Tejaswini is taking care of her father’s get-up, costumes, dialogue lines etc. and is frequently coming to the sets during shootings to see that everything is perfect about the father.

Till the other day, Balakrishna’s wife Vasundhara used to take care of the financial matters of his films, though Surendra was managing the other programmes and activities. Now, Tejaswini has been entrusted with even financial dealings of her daddy’s films.

Interesting point is that Balakrishna, who used to be reckless and aggressive on the sets, is now maintaining calm and composure on the sets whenever Tejaswini comes to the studio. He has given up even occasional cigarette smoking in the presence of his daughter.

It is said Balakrishna brought up both his daughters in the most disciplined atmosphere.

His elder daughter Nara Brahmani is not visible in any of the socialising events and is confined to her Heritage group activities. Now, Tejaswini is taking care of only Balakrishna’s programmes.
