Love Story Crosses $500k, Set for $1M Mark

Love Story is reviving the USA theatrical market for Telugu films. Despite COVID-19 cases on the rise in the USA, the Telugu audiences are coming back to theaters. Sekhar Kammala has done it again. 

“Love Story” went past the half-million mark. The film is set to gross close to 600k by Friday. It has already grossed 560k dollars so far.

Starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, “Love Story” premiered on Thursday in the USA, and the film became the highest grosser in 2021 on the premiere day by raking in $306k. On Friday, it has added another 260 to 290k dollars. 

At this rate, the film will breach the $1 million mark by the end of the first weekend. The film needs to collect $1.2 million to reach a break-even stage. It will achieve this status in the first week itself. 

There were many apprehensions about whether people would return to the theaters. But “Love Story” is being loved by the audiences. The numbers are proving.
